Presented by Dr. Maura Malone

Dr. Maura Malone shares insights and best practices about the journey families must take in support of a dyslexic student. Using a comprehensive support model as the starting point, Dr. Malone reviews the critical milestones families can anticipate as they identify a dyslexic child and put in place literacy interventions, formal and informal accommodations, and cognitive/behavioral training. The presentation includes a review of the current scientific findings as well as success stories of children and young adults overcoming the challenges of dyslexia.
